During the evening, senior staff will talk to you briefly about different aspects of transition from Year 11 to Sixth Form:

• Mr Tomlin (Headteacher) an introduction to Borden and its offer,

• Mr Brinn (Head of Sixth Form) and members of Year 13 will talk about life in Sixth Form and briefly outline prospects beyond the Sixth Form.

There will be an A Level subject information booklet which outlines all the A Level courses on offer at Borden and across the partnership schools. This booklet also explains the application process to the Sixth Form and the different entry requirements for each subject.  Staff from Highsted and Fulston will be available to talk about additional courses offered within the Sixth Form Partnership.  

Parents may already be aware that Swale Schools are now within the Kent Choices Prospectus to be found at www.kentprospectus.co.uk . If you follow the ‘search and apply’ link you can search for provider and find Borden.  

All applications for School Sixth Forms are made via www.kentprospectus.co.uk. Applications to Borden should not be submitted until after the Sixth Form Open Evening, between 14 November 2024 and 31 January 2025.
